Step 1: Find Your School

The School Board of Highlands County operates with designated attendance zones. Locate your assigned school by entering your residential address into our InfoFinder website.

Step 2: Contact SNL

We are available for new student enrollments from 9:00 am until 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We are unable to assist with registration during drop-off and dismissal. You will need specific documentation in order to register your child for Kindergarten. Call ahead by calling (863) 471-5464 to schedule a time, or pop in to speak with our registration clerk.

Step 3: Fill out all Documentation

Remember, your child’s Kindergarten registration is not complete until all the documentation is filled out and completed by turning in the packet. This can sometimes be a lengthy process to gather everything that is needed.

⭐ Students must be registered by noon on Aug. 2nd in order to know their homeroom teacher at Orientation.

⭐ Students must be registered by noon on Aug. 9th in order to start school on the first day of school (Aug. 12th).
